Activate your Instagram flow

In the left menu, go to Settings (Тохиргоо) → Channels (Сувгууд) → Instagram.

The Instagram section shows these settings:

• Story mention reply (Story mention хариулт): the reply sent when someone tags you in their story. This is covered in a separate tutorial.
• Persistent menu (Байнгын цэс): the menu that opens when a user taps the three-line icon in the chat.
• Conversation starters (Яриа эхлүүлэгчид): these work like the Get Started button on Facebook. On Facebook you set up a welcome message, but Instagram has no welcome message, so you must set conversation starters instead.

Be careful not to click Disconnect (Салах) at the top of this section.

Click Edit (Засах) in the Conversation starters section.

In the Question field, type the option users will see, and choose the flow to send from the Bot reply (Flows) (Ботын хариулт (Өрөлтүүд)) list.

You can add as many options as you need, such as “Эхлэх” (Start), “Мэдээлэл авах” (Get information), “Холбоо барих мэдээлэл” (Contact details) or “Хаягийн мэдээлэл” (Address). It depends on how your flows are organized.

Type “Эхлэх” in Question, choose the “Үндсэн цэс” flow you just created from Bot reply (Flows), then click the add (+) button.

Click Save (Хадгалах) in the top right corner. Your first Instagram flow is now active.

When someone opens a chat with your business account on Instagram, the “Эхлэх” option appears. Tapping it sends the “Үндсэн цэс” flow.
