If you paid by following the instructions (with your invoice number written correctly in the transaction description) and your chatbot is active but still isn't working, check your error log first. This guide shows where to find the error log and how to reconnect your channel, which fixes the most common error.

Log in to the panel

Log in to your panel at login.smartbot.mn.

The Smartbot app only handles chats. Flows and other settings are managed in the panel, on a computer or in your phone's browser.

Open the error log

In the left menu, open Flows (Өрөлт). Of the three options at the very top of the page, the one on the right is Error log (Алдааны мэдээлэл).

This is where you see the errors that occurred while your chatbot wasn't working. Click it to see a list with Type (Төрөл), Description (Тайлбар), Contact (Харилцагч) and Date (Огноо) columns.

Recognize the most common error

The most common error is “Please go to Settings > Channels and reconnect your Messenger/Instagram bot”. It means you need to go to Settings (Тохиргоо) → Channels (Сувгууд) and reconnect.

This usually happens when you haven't updated your chatbot for a long time, or when you restart the service by paying after a long unpaid period. In these cases the connection is temporarily lost.

Open the channel settings

Go to Settings (Тохиргоо) → Channels (Сувгууд). Choose Facebook Messenger for a Messenger error or Instagram for an Instagram error.

Reconnect

Scroll down and click Reconnect (Холболт сэргээх) in the Refresh permissions (Эрхийг шинэчлэх) section.

A Facebook window opens and asks whether to continue with your previous settings. Click Edit Settings.

Select your page and confirm

Make sure your page is checked in the list, then click Next.

Scroll down and click Done, then OK. The connection is only restored if your page is checked.

After reconnecting, check your error log again. Error messages usually explain how to fix the problem, so it's a good idea to check the log regularly. If you need help, contact Smartbot's support team.

You do this in the Chatbot panel.login.smartbot.mn
